DVI
DVI (Digital Visual Interface) is an interface created by the Digital Display Working Group (DDWG). DVI’s protocol converts analog signals into digital signals to accomodate both analog and digital monitors. DVI enables an all digital rendering of video without the losses associated with an analog interface. DVI provides Digital only or Integrated Digital/Analog support in a single connector.
