SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Service Representative
generally has the initial and most frequent contact with customers. In
maintaining good customer relations and treating each customer contact
as a sales opportunity, this position must interact in a professional
and courteous manner with all customers, outside sales, sales representatives,
distributors, all company employees in response to inquiries about products
and orders. Receive and process incoming orders via the telephone, email,
or fax. Discuss with customers and/or sales representatives confirmation
of orders, prices, shipping schedules, and any additional information
needed. Process orders into the computer and distributes copies of the
orders to the appropriate departments. Processes and coordinates all requests
from customers, outside sales and/or prospective customers for sample
orders, general product information, prices, written quotations, product
specifications, shipping specifications and schedules and handles customer
complaints. Coordinates with management prices lists, product specification
information, and general correspondence. May perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS Word, Excel, and Outlook
experience, have experience with an order entry MRP system, and appropriate
telephone and personal manners dealing with customers and brokers. Were looking
for a high-energy individual with at least 2 years of customer service
or inside sales experience. Connector or electronics Industry experience
preferred. |
